1940s European Vintage Dress Ethnic World War 2 Munitions Frock

Description: This rare European dress is an adorable example of a 1940s dress – it is covered in a ethnic print. It is highly rare and unusual, many dresses from Europe in this period have not survived due to the war. It has excellent tailoring. The colours and images are amazing, it looks as if the fabric may have originally been used for upholstery due to the texture and print – classic of a European dress of this era where Fabric was scarce. The fabric is almost like taffeta. This dress is a good vintage condition, but it is delicate and there would need to be some repair to some of the seams which have weakened with age. This is a real collectors item. The velvet buttons are worn with age. One of the belt loops is in need of a stitch.
