The Frivolous Fare
We will be selling vintage ladies wear at Sligo’s one and only flea market, The Frivolous Fare is to join the Cairde festival this year in Stephen’s Street Car Park from 12-6pm. After its launch last May in Castle Street’s Tadesclub, the market has hosted some colourful and talented vendors from all over the country. With guest Djs, tea, coffee and cup cakes, its a fun place to hang out as well as browsing through an eclectic variety of wares, including, vintage clothes, vinyl, bric a brac, retro furniture, stationery and hand crafts.

This event is held on the coast at Cairn Bay Lodge in Bangor, Northern Ireland. We would be happy for you to come and meet us in person and try on anything you may have had your eye on online!

I am not sure why, according to The Guardian newspaper, Lily Allen is embarassed about her new documentary, From Riches to Rags on Channel 4 (UK). We have really been enjoying it!

FASHION RENAISSANCE – THE DUBLIN VINTAGE FAIR
The fashion renaissance continues into 2011 with the return of the Vintage Fashion and Decor Fair to the Royal Marine Hotel on Sunday 17th April. The enthusiasm for vintage shows no sign of abating, and fashion on sale at the Vintage Fair ticks all the important boxes for today’s savvy shopper: ethical, eco-friendly, good value fashion, and with Ireland’s best vintage sellers all conveniently gathered under one roof. A veritable one-stop vintage supermarket, the Dublin Vintage Fair covers all areas of 20th century fashion, from clothing to jewellery, hats, handbags, shoes and accessories, even including vintage powder compacts, scent bottles, sewing patterns and fashion prints, along with unique 20th century decorator items and homewares. The event runs from 11am till 6pm.
Little Blue Cottage will be exhibiting at the fair, this is a great day out and a good opportunity for you to try on anything you have had your eye on in our online shop!
